Privacy Policy
What we collect, why we collect it, and how long we keep it.
Last updated 1 August 2026. This is placeholder wording written for the approval build — have it checked by a lawyer before the site goes live.
1. What we collect
When you book a room, reserve a table or send an enquiry, we collect your name, mobile number, email address, dates of stay and guest count. At check-in we record a government photo ID as required by law.
The website itself records anonymous usage data through analytics: pages visited, device type and rough location by city.
2. Why we collect it
To confirm and manage your booking, to contact you about it, to meet the record-keeping requirements placed on hotels in Bihar, and to improve the website.
3. Who we share it with
Nobody, except where the law requires it — primarily police verification records for guest stays. We do not sell guest data, and we do not pass mobile numbers to third-party marketers.
4. How long we keep it
Booking records are kept for three years for accounting. ID records are kept for the period required by local regulation. Marketing emails stop the moment you unsubscribe.
5. Cookies
The site uses cookies for basic functionality and analytics. You can block them in your browser; booking forms will still work.
6. Your rights
You may ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask for corrections, or ask us to delete it where we are not legally required to keep it. Write to stay@anupambihar.com and we will respond within thirty days.
